Football Agent Game – Become the Agent, Not the Manager
FootyAgent is a football agent game for iPhone and iPad. Instead of coaching a club, you represent players: you scout them, sign them, negotiate their contracts and transfers, and earn a commission on every deal. It's single-player, free to download, playable offline and has no ads.
What is FootyAgent?
FootyAgent is a management simulation about the business side of football. You run a player agency: you find talented players, sign them as clients and steer their careers. Your income is commission – a share of each transfer fee and of your clients' wages, as agreed in every client's agent contract.
The game world spans 17 nations with 26 leagues and 480 clubs. All players are fictional, and clubs are named after their cities. Seasons are simulated week by week, with league matches, domestic and continental cups and international call-ups.
How is it different from a football manager game?
In a football manager game you are responsible for one club. In FootyAgent you work for players spread across many clubs and leagues – and you never pick a line-up.
| Football manager game | FootyAgent | |
|---|---|---|
| You are | the club's manager or coach | the players' agent |
| You decide | line-ups, tactics, training | contracts, wages, playing time, transfers, loans |
| Your players | one squad | up to 15 clients at many clubs |
| Your money | the club budget | your agency's commission |
| You progress by | results on the pitch | good deals, reputation and a growing agency |
Later in a career you can buy club shares and become a club's president – but even then, the agency stays at the heart of the game.
Scout players
New talents keep appearing in your scouting pool. You see their current strength, but for players you don't represent yet, potential is only an estimate shown as a range. Better scouting, a chief scout and scout contacts in a player's country make that range narrower. Scouting in detail
Represent players
Every client signs an agent contract with you: your share of his transfers, your share of his salary and how many seasons the contract runs. After that, his career is your job. Clients who sit on the bench, feel neglected or get a tempting call from a rival agent can leave you. Your office decides how many clients you can handle at once – from 3 at the start up to 15.
Negotiate contracts
When a client moves, you negotiate three things with the new club: his playing-time role, the contract length and his wage. The wage talks run over several rounds – the club can accept, counter or walk away, and the bigger your demand, the bigger the risk. Negotiations in detail
Transfers and loans
During the summer and winter transfer windows, clubs send offers for your clients to your inbox. You accept, decline or negotiate – or pitch a client to a club yourself. Loans to smaller clubs help young players get minutes. Transfers in detail
Build your agency
You start as a local agency and can rise through 6 tiers up to a Legendary Agency. Expand your office, hire staff such as a chief scout, an analyst or a contract lawyer, earn 4 licences and choose a specialisation. Become a brand with interviews, TV appearances and sponsors – and buy into clubs. Agency management in detail
Rivals and competition
Computer-controlled rival agents compete for the same players and try to poach your clients. Once you hold the continental licence, you can approach theirs. Season tasks, rival duels, the "Agent of the Year" award, 51 achievements and a ranking of 100 agencies keep score.
