Where talents come from

New talents keep appearing in your scouting pool, drawn from all 17 nations of the game world. Your headquarters matters: almost half of your talents come from the country your agency is based in, the rest from abroad. Once you've found a promising player, you can approach him and offer to represent him.

Potential as a range, not a number

Every player has a hidden potential – the level he can reach. For players you don't represent, FootyAgent shows an estimate: a range such as "74–86". The range always contains the true value, so you're never lied to, but a wide range means real uncertainty. Once a player signs with your agency, you work with him every day and see his exact potential.

That makes signing a young player a real decision: do you take the risk early, while he's cheap and unknown, or wait until the picture is clearer – and other agents have noticed him too?

What makes your estimates sharper

• Scouting upgrades (5 levels): every level narrows the range and improves the quality of the talents you find.
• A chief scout on your staff: brings more and more talented players into your pool and sharpens your estimates further.
• Scout contacts in a player's country: a well-connected scout knows the local scene.
• The Talent hunter specialisation: one extra talent with every new batch and a sharper potential estimate – at the price of sponsors paying your clients 10 % less.

After the signing
